Yamaha 'Concert' - JXC1

Last Saturday, WF and his Yamaha classmates performed in their class 'concert' for this term. Parents and other invited guests (e.g. siblings) joined the children about half an hour after their lesson started. WF was delighted when he saw all 3 of us were there to 'support' him (捧他的场).

Most of the children opted to play for the audience 2 music pieces. Some preferred to play 3 pieces. All were very well done (much improved from the last time we heard them).

WF chose to play 4 pieces - An Ukrainian Girl, Early Birds, Balloon Trip and Waltz. The teacher told us that WF had initially offered to play all the repertoire pieces in the book! But she limited him to only 4 pieces because there was time constraint. (I think she also didn't want WF to steal too much of the limelight, lah! But I think the teacher is right in this regard).

Anyway, 4 pieces were OK with us. Enjoy!

Very good! He's very confident. Guess he takes after his mom. I guess this is your younger boy. Ask him to keep up the good work. Well done!
