Great for Mother!

With all the various 'headache' stuff and issues taking everyone by surprise in the recent months and leaving us all very much baffled + confused + disoriented + frustrated etc etc, I think it is great that Mother has finally decided to go for a Concert to be performed 'live' by 8 renowned Taiwanese artistes!



Mother has been a keen follower of the Taiwanese serial called The Unforgettable Memory (意难忘)* which is currently being telecast by MediaCorp in the weekday afternoons. A male star in this serial is one of the 8 Taiwanese artistes who will perform at the Concert.

But Mother has been hesitant when I offered to sponsor her ticket for the Concert because she was unsure if she should go for the Concert or not. She was also not certain if she would still have company for the Concert now that some of her friends (also keen followers of the same Taiwanese serial) have already purchased their mass-order tickets earlier. In fact, she has been pondering over this for the past few weeks or so. And I have been suggesting to her that we get the tickets directly, to no avail.

Yesterday, Mother finally made up her mind and requested me to help her call Sistic to book 2 tickets - one for herself and another for her friend. In the end, I placed a booking online and managed to get a pair of relatively good seats for them. Mother was so happy - hahaha.. she kept asking me to make sure it's confirmed booking, hor! Hahahhaa...

I will collect the Cat 1 tickets soon. Mother's is sponsored, of course, although she has initially offered to pay for it herself.

Actually, I will more than gladly sponsor her tickets to more concerts and outings of such kind if she is interested. I think these activities are good mood- and morale- boosters.
